Truth About Abs Book Review

I have read dozens of books about getting six pack abs, and most of them have made me wish I hadn’t wasted my time and money.  They all seem to give the same advice and repeat the same tips over and over again.

The worst part about most six pack books is that the most important advice about ab exercise and nutrition is usually vague and incomplete.  I am often left wondering how I am supposed to do the exercises or prepare the meals suggested without the help of a personal trainer or nutritionist.

A friend of mine recommended The Truth About Abs, since I had been struggling to get a six pack for several months.  I felt like I had already tried everything, but I was willing to give this book a shot.  I will admit I was skeptical about reading yet another ab book.  The book’s website seemed like yet another online sales pitch, but this turned out to be the best ab book that I have ever read.

The Truth About Abs is one of the most popular books about abs available internationally.  It is written by Michael Geary, a certified personal trainer and nutrition specialist, and he shares his experience from training hundreds of men and women on getting a flat stomach and six pack abs.  His book is 106 pages full of vital information about what you really need to know to get perfect abs.

Mike’s advice was very practical and relateable, and I didn’t feel like it was yet another abs book with a bunch of hype and no actual substance.  He provides real diet and exercise recommendations that were fast and easy to understand.  He provides great advice on the best type, sequence, and duration of ab exercises, and he provides detailed meal ideas I haven’t seen anywhere else.

This book includes clear, color photos of the exercises and example meal plans, so I didn’t feel lost when trying to follow his advice on my own.  This is something that every other abs book I have read was missing.  I wasn’t left wondering what to do next, and I felt like I had a clear plan to achieve six pack abs.

Another good thing about this book is that it is made for both men and women.  Mike emphasizes many times that the best ab exercise and diet routines he recommends are the same for men and women.  This is an important point that many abs books miss when they target one gender over the other.

The only downside about this book that I can find is that a lot of the exercises mentioned would probably be best performed in a gym.  You can do everything at home using weights and a fitness ball, but having access to a gym will make things faster and easier for you.

Overall, I highly recommend The Truth About Abs.  It got me out of the rut that I was in when I was trying to lose those last 10 pounds to reveal my six pack.  This book will provide a clear picture on how to achieve six pack abs beyond the basic ab exercise and diet tips this website provides.

The best part about this book is that it is available as an ebook (electronic book), so you can get it and start reading it immediately after you buy it.  You won’t feel tempted to procrastinate and wait until it comes in the mail.  You can read it and start making changes to your ab workout routine right away.

Another great thing about The Truth About Abs is that the author, Mike Geary, provides his personal e-mail address on his website, if you have any questions about your ab exercise routine.   He also provides his customers with a weekly newsletter, and it contains some fresh and original ab exercise and diet tips.

Since I’m not a fitness or nutrition expert, I’m happy that I found this book, so I can recommend it to all of my readers who are ready to take their training to the next level.  You will really have a clear understanding of the common mistakes you are making in your diet and exercise routine after reading this book.

If you’re really serious about getting six pack abs and ready to take your training to the next level, I recommend that you pick up a copy of this book.  You can cut out the middleman and purchase a copy right now at Mike Geary’s website - TruthAboutAbs.com.
